Voxyde's journey
Voxyde was established in 2021 by Razvan Ciobanu to initially share what he has learned in his processes, but it quickly evolved to be a platform to explore new ways of teaching professional grade visual effects and computer graphics, and with that he establish a community for like minded people who wants to explore and learn art and it’s science.Â
The first courses we created were shorter format that had a specific focus on a topic, and over time we’ve created multiple levels of courses that our community can enjoy. From the shorter free material you find in our website and Youtube channel, to the more complex long form courses that teaches you all the ins and outs of industry tested workflows.
Voxyde has also grown into something much bigger: a learning platform where some of the best artists in the industry come together to share knowledge, create courses, and give feedback.
The future?
We have some exciting plans for the future with some amazing ideas on the table. We’ll be exploring new ways of both creating content and working together with our community to reach newer grounds.
We’re excited to share with you all this when the right time comes. For now we will slowly uncover over the next several months this exciting new project.
We will also be adding a way for you to register yourself if you’d like to be involved in some of the future plans we have. We’ll get back to you on that.

Razvan Ciobanu
With a background in traditional art, Rez is a self-taught digital artist with over a decade of professional experience i visual effects. During this time he had the pleasure to work with amazing teams on various projects for League of Legends, Valorant, Puma, Final Fantasy and more.
With that experience he established Voxyde to build a community and share the knowledge he has gained throughout his professional career.
Ali Al-Tobi
Besides his work in visual effects, he has written and directed multiple films.
Jan Hebein
Jan is an artist with a wide spectrum of skills. He creates visually striking 3D art, blending technical skill with creativity.
Houdini has been his software of choise for years as a freelancer while collaborating with various clients on projects ranging from product visualization to cinematics, FX, and more.
Mikel Cortiñas
Mikel is a Houdini artist with a sharp eye for visuals and years of experience bringing motion, energy, and imagination to life.Â
He’s collaborated with top brands like Louis Vuitton, Stray Kids, Adidas and Call of Duty, and contributed to high-profile productions such as the Esports World Cup and Esports Nations Cup.
Tom Döring
Tom is a Houdini artist passionate about creating procedural setups that replicate effects usually achieved through simulations.
With a focus on RBD simulations and simulation free procedural workflows, he strives to build systems that are both efficient and highly art-directable.
Driven by curiosity and a strong desire to grow, Tom is always eager to expand his skills and share his knowledge with others along the way
